Bathing water (provincial and national waters) from {Swim water register}

The approximately 700 official bathing water sites are designated annually by the provinces if they are considered suitable. During the bathing season (from 1 May to 1 October) the water at the bathing water sites is checked by the water quality manager about every 14 days.
