A compilation of bilateral agreements between Canada and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) across the areas of trade, economic cooperation, nuclear collaboration, defence, investment, taxation, and air transport. This set includes a wheat trade agreement; a protocol on economic cooperation; two nuclear‑related instruments—one general agreement on nuclear energy and another detailed cooperation agreement with annexes concerning the peaceful uses of nuclear energy; a commerce protocol; an agreement concerning visits on military matters; an investment promotion and protection agreement; a taxation agreement; and an exchange of notes amending the 1966 air transport agreement, accompanied by an annex. Together, these instruments reflect the broad scope of Canada–USSR cooperation prior to the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
