3D-models of loose rock in Lower Saxony - Vörden Hunteburg
Description
In the 1990s, a geological 3D model was created for sheets No. 3514 Vörden and No. 3515 Hunteburg based on the data of the geological map of Lower Saxony 1:25000 (GK25) (MENGELING 1983, 1988), geological outcrop drilling and cross-linked profile cuts (MENGELING 1986, 1994) with a program that is no longer available. Taking into account current profile cuts and drill holes, the model recorded here represents an update and revision of the existing model in GOCAD and is provided as a 3D PDF.
In terms of content, the model included 24 lithological or lithogenetic units of the Quaternary in the form of base areas. In addition, tertiary scales with upper and lower edges are included.
