WMS Deutschlandatlas basic protection in old age
Description
Display service for the dataset from www.deutschlandatlas.bund.de: Percentage of the population with basic income in the age of 65 and older in 2020. Persons who have reached the appropriate age limit and cannot sufficiently ensure their subsistence are entitled to basic old-age pensions. In Germany, in December 2020, around 500,800 people received basic old-age pensions outside institutions such as old-age or nursing homes. In terms of all inhabitants of Germany over the age of 65, this corresponds to a rate of 3.1 percent.
