Coastal monitoring: Microbiology
Description
Marine microbiology data have been developed in the framework of the WFD. Escherichia coli is found in particular.
Quadrige brings together the main networks for monitoring the quality of the coastal marine environment participating in the WFD, including for chemical data:
The REMI (Microbiology Network)
The RSL: Lagoon Monitoring Network that carries out both biological and chemical monitoring on Mediterranean lagoons,
There are also several regional surveillance networks, health surveillance networks such as networks operated by partners for a specific purpose (Maritime Ports Network for example).
