Set of satellite images AQUA MODIS anomalies per month of chlorophyll-a of the year 2010 with respect to the average of the period 2000-2010 with respect to the average of the period 2000-2010. Spatial resolution 1100 m. Scope Atlantic Ocean and Alboran Sea. In ETRS89 UTM spindle 30. In order to obtain the changes per month in the concentration of chlorophyll-a (mg/cm3), in the sea, of the last year of study, with respect to its average behavior, per month, throughout the historical series 2000-2010. With these images, the increase or decrease of this parameter can be observed, which in turn allows the estimation of the concentration of phytoplankton and indirectly of biological activity, in addition to being used as an instrument for monitoring eutrophication processes in the marine environment.
