Areas with potentially significant flood risks 2018
Description
According to the Water Act, as a first step in the preparation and adoption of the Flood Risk Management Plan, which is an integral part of the River Basin Management Plan for the period from 2022 to 2027, in 2018 Hrvatske vode supplemented the Previous Flood Risk Assessment for River Basin Districts. Supplemented The 2018 Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment has been methodologically significantly improved compared to the Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment published in 2013, and in addition to a significantly wider scope of collected data, it also covers new thematic units such as climate change, cultural heritage and future economic development activities. Based on the verified previous flood risk assessment, areas with potentially significant flood risks were identified. The analysis was carried out at the level of coverage of settlements - the smallest administrative unit. Position data are given in the Croatian terrestrial reference system 1996 Transvers Merkator projections (HTRS96/TM).
