Description
The data set contains information on the physical and biological cover of the earth's surface (artificial land, agricultural land, forests, natural and semi-natural areas, wetlands and water bodies) in the Free State of Saxony. The components buildings, constructions, running water, standing water, mixed land cover, arable land, bushes and shrubs, solid natural surfaces, rock, grassy and herbaceous plants, woody permanent crop plants, deciduous trees, conifers, non-solid surface, loose rock and organic deposits (peat). The database for the land cover is the official topographic-cartographic information system Digital Landscape Model 1:25,000 (ATKIS base DLM).
