Geoothermie_Drill drilling for geothermal probes
Description
Map setting the limits on the use of soil heat and the conditions for the installation of boreholes for vertical geothermal probes. The map is based on current knowledge of cantonal geological and hydrogeological conditions. It incorporates restrictions related to the protection of groundwater (Federal Act of 24 January 1991 on the Protection of Groundwater — LEaux RS814.20). Permanent and spontaneous landslide areas are also considered. Note: In the sectors “to be evaluated (contact with ENV)”, the derogation may be issued only on the basis of notice from the Office of the Environment (ENV) or a technical note justifying the absence of hydrogeological risks and fixing the maximum depth of drilling. This card does not exempt applicants from requesting authorisation from the competent authorities. It does not take into account the location of polluted sites and underground infrastructure.
