The map service (WMS Group) presents the digital geodata from the field of renewable energies of the Saarland: wind turbines of the Saarland (plants that convert the kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy and feed it into the electricity grid). Attributes: RW, HW: Coordinates of legal value and high value; NAME: the name of the wind farm; SITUATION:EIA Preliminary assessment (EIA=Environmental Impact Assessment), Ongoing procedure, Approved wind turbines; PERFORMANCE: Indication in megawatt MW; LEVEL OF NEARBY: height of the gondola above the base of the tower; TOTAL HEIGHT:Rotor blade length plus hub height gives the total height.
