Main roads

Description

The main roads, i.e. the core network of roads, are a list of roads of particular national importance. The definition of the core network is contained in section 4 of the Act on the Transport System and Roads. Decisions on the main roads are made by decree of the Ministry of Transport and Communications on the main roads and railways. The main task of the main transport infrastructure regulation is to define the core networks that are important for national transport, and the prerequisites for their development should be secured. The definition of the network is based on the transport significance of the connections, their network position and consideration of their societal purposefulness. The operator of the road wizard is responsible for maintaining the information. The target category is versioning.
