Description
The metadata record describes all set natural denominations in the district of Mittelsachsen. The natural monuments are recorded as point (single trees), line (always) and area objects (trees). The tree natural monuments are legally binding individual creations of nature pursuant to § 28 BNatSchG in conjunction with § 18 SächsNatSchG. The Landratsamt Mittelsachsen is responsible for the designation of the Naturdenkmale as the Lower Nature Conservation Authority. The GML download of the spatial data via WFS is possible here.
