Soil map of Slovakia 1:400 000
Description
The soil map of Slovakia is a digital georeferenced database digitised from analogue map (Hraško et al., 1993). The attributes of the database contain a detailed legend with respect for environmental soil characteristics and comparison with the complete classification of WRB 98 soil units and soil substrates.
The data (database) is archived in ESRI Shape format, the S-JTSK reference coordinate system (x-, y- coordinates) has been used and the reference scale for spatial data is 1: 400 000. The usability of the data is for the whole territory of the Slovak Republic (agricultural and forest land).
