Description
The Map Service (WMS Group) presents the spatial data from the Saarland landscape program as the theme map Climate-Soil Groundwater.:In the identification of erosion-prone forest sites as part of the creation of the Saarland landscape program, only the erosion hazard caused by “relief energy” was taken into account, as the processes of gully erosion occurring in forest management and high slope inclination are not directly linked to certain types of soil. Therefore, all over 15° inclined, forest-covered slopes were depicted as forest sites at risk of erosion. In this area, particular attention must be paid to the avoidance of erosion within the framework of forest management. see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 2.4.2
