Regional plan combination of Southwest Finland in a uniform data model
Description
A regional plan is a general plan for the use of areas in a region or sub-region. The plan guides the planning of municipalities and other planning related to the use of areas by the authorities. The regional plan indicates the areas necessary for the development of the county, the principles of the use of the areas and the urban structure.
The formula is presented on the map with the help of plan entries and regulations. The report presents the objectives, impacts and other necessary information of the plan. A regional plan may be drawn up as an overall regional plan or a plan covering a specific topic in stages.
The Land Use and Building Act (MRL) sets frameworks for the preparation of a regional plan and the national land use targets (VAT) guide the content and the planning process of the regional plan. The Regional Council is responsible for drawing up the regional plan.

The data are visualised according to the HAME data model, which differs from the visualisation of confirmed regional plans. The visualisation of skirt is based on jointly agreed regional plan entries developed in the HAME project (Harmonised regional plans into e-services).
