Reference points of the departmental road network — Département du Loiret
Description
Containment of roads, road points (or reference points or PR) allowing the location in relation to the terminals visible on the departmental roads of the Loiret. The data contains the route identifier, the route number, the PR number, the abssciss and the road category.
**Collection context**
The landmarks constitute the boundary of roads. They are located at regular intervals of 1000 metres usually for a new road. Over time, route changes can occur, modifying these intervals called inter PR lengths.
**Collection method**
The update is done by field measurement of the distance travelled on the road between a PR and the next RP.
