Spectacular trees

This layer lists the trees of the canton of Fribourg which are considered worthy of interest to the observer. Only trees in or near the forest are listed; trees in public and private parks as well as in village squares are not taken into account, although many are remarkable. Each spectacular tree was photographed. The photos are integrated into descriptive sheets that mention the main characteristics of the individual as well as the criteria that make it possible to recognise this or that other tree species.
