Description
Digital surface models (DOM) describe the earth’s surface including vegetation and structures by a regular or irregular point grid, whereby the position and height are known for each grid point. It depicts the situation at the time of recording. A distinction is made between different DOMs depending on height accuracy and grid width: DOM5 in the 5 m x 5 m grid recorded from 1996 to 2006; DOM2 in 2 m x 2 m grid from 2010
