Passersby frequencies at Bahnhofstrasse — Hourly values
Description
Measuring passerby frequencies can provide important indications of the attractiveness and use of places. As part of a joint pilot project between the international real estate consultancy CBRE, the PropTech company hystreet.com, Swiss Life Asset Managers, the urban development of Zurich and the Association Zürcher Bahnhofstrasse, the company Hystreet at Bahnhofstrasse collects passersby frequencies.
The measurements are carried out with laser scanners and are updated every hour. There are currently three measuring points: North, middle, south. The data can be differentiated between adults and children as well as the running direction (Bürkliplatz or Central Station).
The areas can still be divided into so-called zones (numbered 1-3, 99 if no zones are defined).
Furthermore, the data set also includes information on the weather and temperature during the measurement time.
