Raw material geological overview map of the Free State of Saxony 1:400.000 - Fossil fuels (RÜK400Bre)
Description
The map contains the occurrences of all fossil fuels (brown coal, hard coal, moors) as well as the existing or closed open-cast lignite mines and underground hard coal mines at the time of the map issue. On the back of the printed map version there are explanations on coal genesis, on moor construction, on the development of lignite extraction after 1989, on the characteristics of the mined hard coal, as well as on the regional geological and stratigraphic distribution of the lignite and hard coal seams.
