swissEO NBRdiff: Note card for faults
Description
Note card for a decrease in the NBR (Normalized Burn Ratio) index of a selected date compared to the previous 45 days of the growing season for the forest areas of Switzerland. The index is based on satellite data (Sentinel-2) with a spatial resolution of 20 meters. NBR decreases indicate abrupt changes in the forest (management, forest fire, storm damage, etc.). This dataset was developed in cooperation with the BFH-HAFL and the Federal Office for the Environment FOEN for waldmonitoring.ch and for the Federal Drought Portal. Contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data.
