Climate classification of J. Papadakis
Description
The map Climate classification of J. Papadakis, belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterization or Agroclimatic Information. The classification developed by Papadakis is based on the establishment of a thermal regime and a water regime that will serve to determine the different climatic units, including factors of high relevance for crops such as summer and winter severity. The Climate Classification map of J. Papadakis corresponds to a climate classification model represented through a map of hyposometric inks. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by geostatistical interpolation methods (kriging) from the data of 1803 stations belonging to the network of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
