School districts of primary and secondary schools
Description
The project ‘Digitalisation of school districts’ was jointly initiated by the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and for Heimat and the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Culture. The aim is to digitally record the school districts that were previously available as legal ordinances in text form throughout Bavaria and to make them available for use in the GDI Bavaria. The data can be made available free of charge and access-free on the Internet. This allows interested users, such as policy makers, school administration, schools and communities, easier access to the data and improved insight and use. For the time being, the project is limited to public primary, middle and (expiring) secondary schools. Already existing data from the municipalities were integrated into the project. The retrievable map section per WMS request is limited to a maximum of 4,000x4,000 pixels.
