Geothermal withdrawal capacity in W/m: 2400 operating hours - up to 70m drilling depth
Description
The map of the near-surface geothermal extraction capacity is an overview map for the use of geothermal energy by means of geothermal probes. The interactive geothermal map makes it possible to read the geothermally available specific extraction capacities in watts per meter probe length [W/m] for heating and hot water operation (2,400 operating hours) for the depth level 70m in relation to a so-called standard type single-family house in Saxony. Depicted is the specific extraction performance, which varies depending on the geological subsurface conditions in the area.
