Employment participation; elderly, 2003-2022
Description
This table contains quarterly and annual figures on the employment rate of older people in the Netherlands. The population aged 55 or over (excluding the institutional population) is divided into the employed, unemployed and non-working population. The working population is further classified according to the position in the working environment and the average working time. A breakdown by gender and age is available for the different classifications.
Due to changes in the EBB’s research design and questionnaire, a revision of the figures for the 2021 reporting year was implemented in the first quarter of 2022.
The figures from 2021 onwards are not necessarily comparable to the figures up to and including 2020.
