Measuring points phytoplankton
Description
Phytoplankton is currently being studied on 78 water bodies. For the WFD, five water bodies in the overview monitoring and 67 water bodies in the operational network are examined using the phytoplankton. Furthermore, six non-reportable lakes of less than 50 hectares are regularly monitored, including particularly rare and protected sea types in SH, such as the low carbon softwater lakes and lakes that are still largely intact ecologically.
