Description
In the geographical sense, “natural spatial unity” or “natural space” is understood to mean an “terrestrial space delimited according to the overall character of its national nature”. Factors such as relief, vegetation, water bodies, geology and climate are taken into account. The “Geographical Land Survey 1:200 000 Natural Spatial Division of Germany” of the Federal Office of Regional Studies and Spatial Research was completed for Baden-Württemberg in 1991. Please note the following information on the completeness and quality of the data provided: due to inaccuracies in the acquisition of technical objects, there are occasional non-valid geometries according to OGC Schema validation. Since GIS servers such as ArcGIS server, GeoServer or UMN MapServer have to use/process ever more accurate data bases, the inspection routine is always further developed and warns in the tolerance range as well as in the topological recording of inaccuracies (e.g. by third-party software). This means that geometries can no longer be displayed or recorded. The objected geometry errors include self-intersections (self-intersections) or double bases.
Therefore, the LUBW cannot guarantee the completeness and stability of the Download Service (WFS).
