WFS Port Measuring Trips 2014 Hamburg
Description
Web Feature Service (WFS) with the 2014 Port Measuring in Hamburg.
At the Elbe and in the port, mobile measurements are carried out with a measuring vessel several times a year for the operation of the measuring stations.
The surface spread of the oxygen hole in the individual harbour basins and canals is documented on the basis of up to six measuring trips per year. In addition, the development of the oxygen and nutrient situation as well as the plant and animal plankton in the harbour basins is monitored compared to the stromelbe. In this way, conclusions can be drawn on the exchange between individual harbour basins as well as between port basins and elbows. The presentation of the results in maps for this purpose is provided here.
In 2014, five water quality studies were carried out in the Hamburg Elbe section.
The journeys were carried out in May, July, August, September and November.
The results on maps can be visualised differently via the WFS.
