Households; number of children, age class child, region, 1 January
Description
Private households with children living at home in the Netherlands on 1 January by type of household, number of children, age of the youngest and oldest child living at home and region.
The regions listed in the table are subdivisions, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities.
The regional totals presented concern aggregations of municipalities.
In the case of border changes that go beyond different regional borders, the classification of the municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation.
For example: the municipality of Vianen, which moved from the province of Zuid-Holland to the province of Utrecht on 1 January 2002, is grouped in the table in the province of Utrecht.

Please note:
When selecting municipalities of one year from this table, a Server Error may occur with the message '404- File or directory not found'. The problem is that the URL is too long. The notification can be prevented by selecting all municipalities or selecting municipalities in blocks (a to l, m to z).
Status of figures:
All figures in the table are final.
Changes as of 7 June 2024:
The final figures of 1 January 2024 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
In the third quarter of 2025, the figures of 1 January 2025 shall be included in the table.
