This table shows the number of vacancies open, created and filled in public administration and education.
Data on job vacancies are detailed by public sector.
Data available from: 1997 1st quarter.
Status of figures:
The figures in this table are final.
In the period 2008 3rd quarter to 2009 4th quarter, the vacancy survey observed the number of vacancies at the Ministry of Defence according to a different method. As a result, approximately 7 thousand additional vacancies are counted during this period. These vacancies are visible to the government. This should be taken into account when interpreting the results. Due to these vacancies from the Ministry of Defence, the numbers of open, created and filled vacancies in this period are not fully consistent with the number of open vacancies in the second quarter of 2008 and the first quarter of 2010.
The results of this table up to and including the second quarter of 2009 are based on recalculated data based on the 1993 SBI observation. Data from the third quarter of 2009 onwards are based on the 2008 SBI observation. As a result, the number of open, created and filled vacancies in the third quarter of 2009 is not fully consistent with the number of open vacancies in the second quarter.

When will there be new figures?
Figures for the second quarter of 2024 will be published in August 2024.
