Description
Command line tools for size optimization of the basemap.at management map Raster(!) Offline.
Using pngquant, the PNG raster tiles within the basemapat\_standard16.MBTiles file are reduced in size.
With maximum compression and still small visual differences, the original +16GB becomes about 4.6GB.
Due to the storage space reduction, offline use is much easier to handle.
