Description
Population of the Netherlands as of 1 January by gender, age, origin grouping, generation and region.
The regions listed in the table are parts of the country, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities.
The regional totals presented concern aggregations of municipalities.
In case of border changes that cross different regional borders, the division of municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation.
For example: for the municipality of Vianen, which transferred from the province of South Holland to the province of Utrecht as of 01-01-2002, it is grouped in the table in the province of Utrecht.
