Jobs of employees; domestic shuttle, region
Description
The table provides data on commuting between living and working regions of workers' jobs. The reference period is the month of December of the year shown. The data are broken down by country, province and RegioPlus labour market region. All calculations relate to jobs of employees.
The commuting grades are displayed for two groups. The group 'Care: cure and other' includes the AZW Branches 'University medical centers', 'Hospitals and other med. spec. care', 'Doctors and health centers' and 'Other care and welfare'. The group 'Alle ec. act., excl care:cure and other' includes the remaining ASBL Branches and the jobs in the other economic sectors A to U.
This deviates from the regular format on AZW StatLine. It is assumed that employees in the non-included AZW Branches do not work at the establishment(s) of companies or institutions, but, for example, ambulatory / close to home. As a result, people by definition live and work in the same region, and there is no regional commute between where they work and the location where they work. These branches within the 'care and well-being' are included in 'Alle ec. act., excl care: cure and others', but forms only a limited part of this.

All figures are provisional. As long as the figures are provisional, there may be minimal differences.
Changes as of 21 May 2024:
Figures for December 2022 have been added to the table. As of 1 September 2022, the RegioPlus-Arbeidsmarktregio Rijnstreek has changed its name: the new name is ‘Rijn Gouwe’. This name change has been put back in time in this table.

When will there be new figures?
Figures for 2023 are expected in the first half of 2025.
