Social contacts and participation
Description
This table provides information on the participation in social activities and social participation of persons aged 15 and over. Social activities involve contacts with family, friends and neighbours and informal help that people give to others.
Social participation involves participation in organisations, such as memberships of associations, association participation and volunteering. Political participation is also part of social participation. This table includes participation in political actions (from the age of 18) and political interest. All subjects are broken down by gender, age, origin, highest level of education achieved, position in the household and urbanity of the municipality.
