The data product consists of road category phenomena belonging to the product group Processed Road Data Products.
Describes the hierarchical division of roads by the Swedish Transport Administration — the state management — of the importance of roads for the national need for transport. Road category is divided into European Road, National Road, Primary County Road and Other County Road.
The purpose of the data product is to obtain the basis for decision-making in order to plan and implement investments and maintenance on the state road network.
