Groundwater abstraction locations Westland-Oostland
Description
The map only covers the greenhouse horticulture areas Westland and Oostland. The locations where groundwater is extracted and water and brine are infiltrated are indicated (1 January 2015). The abstraction and infiltration of water usually occurs in the first aquifer package, the discharge of brine in the second aquifer package.
The locations given relate exclusively to the supply of irrigation water. Open and closed geothermal energy systems are not on this map.
The data was obtained via the Environment Service Haaglanden. For the current state of groundwater abstractions and infiltrations, the relevant water board (groundwater abstraction and rainwater storage) and the municipality (discharge of brine) should be consulted.
