WMS Moorkartierung Hamburg
Description
The Web Map Service (WMS) presents the results of the 2016 Hamburg moor mapping. The distribution of peat deposits and bogs in the Hamburg area is visualized and the thickness of the near-surface peat layers in the Hamburg bogs is described. The service consists of 4 layers. In addition to the moor soils of Hamburg, they also show the soils with peat that occur in the first metre under a low cover, the places with peat layers in the deeper subsoil and the areas with deposits that cover the natural soils.
