Commercial ordering cars; industries/sectors (SBI 2008), 2009-2016
Description
This table contains data on the number of vans registered by companies (company delivery cars) by industry (SBI 2008). The figures refer to vans with a valid Dutch registration that have been admitted to traffic on public roads during (part of) the reporting year, including:
— Order vehicles belonging to the company’s stock in (part of) the year.
— Order vehicles operating only part of the year on the road network, such as new or imported vehicles and vehicles demolished or exported during the year.
The calculated numbers are therefore higher than the number of registered (active) vans on reference date 1 January.
Because the quality of the lease file (from the Tax and Customs Administration) of 2016 is better than in the previous years, more vans can be allocated to the branch of the company that leased the van (the lessee).This can lead to shifts between sectors and regions, among others.

Status of the figures:
The figures for 2011 to 2016 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised. The figures for previous years are final.
