Ground cover of the model MOPplusFR
Description
The theme "soil cover" is a partition of the territory describing the actual land use. There are 6 main categories, namely buildings, hard, green, wooded, water and unvegetated surfaces. There is a detailed federal and cantonal classification. A subgroup "buildings" is available, as well as a restated set to exactly coincide with the boundaries of "land" to allow their description (cadastral description, a list of the types of land cover contained in each land and their respective surface). This theme is an integral part of the official measurement dataset. The update is carried out by the patented surveying engineers or specialists in official measurements in collaboration with the Geoinformation Service.
