Description

The interoperable INSPIRE-WFS Geology/Environmental Geological Map 1 : 300 000 Brandenburg is a download service containing data in the Annex Schema Hydrogeology (derived from the original dataset: Retention capacity provided by slurry, silt and clay Brandenburg). It gives an overview of the retention capacity of groundwater cover in the Land Brandenburg on a scale of 1: 300 000. According to the INSPIRE data specification Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0), the contents of the hydrogeological map are INSPIRE compliant. The WFS includes the following feature types: - aquifers (ge_hg:Aquifer) with information on the petrographic name (Lithology), on the type of geological unit (geologicUnitType), on the approximate thickness of the hydrogeological unit (approximateThickness), with information on the rock type of the aquifer (hydroGeochemicalRockType), which determines the hydrogeochemical status of the groundwater, and on the index value or value interval to indicate the hazard to the aquifer due to the geological structure, the hydrogeological conditions and actual or potential sources of pollution (vulnerabilityToPollution), - Type of geological collection (ge:GeologicCollection), - Geometry objects (ge:MappedFeature). --- The compliant INSPIRE-WFS Geology / Environmental Geological Map 1 : 300 000 Brandenburg is a download service that delivers data in the annex schema Hydrogeology (derived from the original data set: Retention capacity due to boulder clay, silt and clay Brandenburg). It provides an overview of the retention capacity of the groundwater cover for the State of Brandenburg on a scale of 1 : 300,000. The content of the hydrogeological map is compliant to the INSPIRE data specification for the annex theme Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0). The WFS includes the following FeatureTypes: - aquifer features (ge_hg:Aquifer) with information on the petrographic name (lithology) and type of geological unit (geologicUnitType), information about the approximate thickness of the hydrogeological unit (approximateThickness), and about the values describing the hydrogeochemical condition of the groundwater environment (hydroGeochemicalRockType), and about the index value or interval of values determining the potential degree of aquifer risk arising from the geological structure, hydrogeological conditions and the existence of real or potential source of contamination (vulnerabilityToPollution), - type of the geological collection (ge:GeologicCollection), - spatial objects (ge:MappedFeature).
