Agricultural/nature interweaving per ha - Flanders - state 2013
Description
This map of the interweaving between nature and agriculture was drawn up on the basis of a selection of all valuable and very valuable nature from the biological valuation map combined with the map of agricultural use parcels. The analysis was performed at a 10m resolution. In this way, small plots of nature and agriculture were also detected in an urbanised context. Each hectare cell in which at least 100m2 of nature or agriculture occurs was included in the analysis. This map indicates per hectare cell whether this is a monofunctional agricultural cell, a monofunctional natural cell, a cell with interweaving between agriculture and nature with a dominance of agriculture, or a cell with interweaving between agriculture and nature with a dominance of nature. Other functions can also occur in the cell, such as housing, industry or recreation, but these functions (and their surfaces) are not taken into account in this analysis.
