Description
Records of faunal deaths associated with power lines for the period 1990-present. The information is composed of two alphanumeric tables: electrocutions (1990-present) and collisions (2002-present).
The data collected, among others, are the name and category of threatened species, coordinates (x,y) and date of discovery, registration, name and ownership of the line, and the number of specimens found. Data models are different (collision and electrocution). The list of species collected is very broad. For example, in terms of collisions, there are among others: elanio común ('Elanus caeruleus'), sisón común ('Tetrax tetrax'), cernícalo primilla ('Falco naumanni'), búho real ('Bubo bubo'), águila real ('Aquila chrysaetos'), ibis eremita ('Geronticus eremita'), buitre negro ('Aegypius monachus'), águila azor perdicera ('Aquila fasciata'), águila imperial ibérica ('Aquila adalberti'), avutarda común ('Otis tarda'), águila pescadora ('Pandion haliaetus'), cigüeña negra ('Ciconia nigra'), grulla común ('Grus grus') y buitre leonado ('Gyps fulvus').
The data are part of the Monitoring and Control Programme for Fish and Aquatic Bird Deaths, established in the protocol approved in September 2005 in agreement with the Directorate-General for the Mediterranean Basin and the Guadiana and Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederations.
Sensitive information in accordance with Article 13(2)(h) of Law 27/2006 of 18 July 2006 regulating the rights of access to information, public participation and access to justice in environmental matters.
