Description

In this table you will find an overview of victimisation of persons based on the Integral Safety Monitor (IVM). It is about personal and object-related victimisation in the 12 months prior to the investigation. It is always about data on the population aged 15 or over, unless otherwise stated. Included are the national figures and the figures by personal characteristics. Due to changes in questioning, research design and/or context, the IVM data from 2008 onwards are not comparable to data from other sources, such as the Security Monitor Rijk (VMR; 2005-2008) and previous safety and/or victim surveys. The survey was conducted in the last quarter of the year. Data for a reporting period of, for example, 12 months refer for the most part to the calendar year mentioned (e.g. 2009) and for a limited part to a few previous months. Data available from 2008 to 2009. Status of the figures: The data is preliminary. Amendment as of 28 November 2018 In the previous version, the age categories were not correctly filled: instead of a certain age, there were figures that went from up to a certain age. For example, the figures of age group 15 to 18 years erroneously included figures of 18 year olds. This has now been corrected. When will there be new figures? No longer applicable.
