Waste and recycling Hamburg

Description

Depot container stands Depot container stands are facilities for sorting waste paper, waste glass (brown, green, white), lightweight packaging (e.g. plastics and metals) and small electrical and electronic equipment (excluding batteries and accumulators). The depot container stands are located in the street and are available to all citizens free of charge for the separate disposal of recyclable materials. The usage times of the depot containers are weekdays (Mon. – Sat.) from 07:00 to 20:00. Only during these times may waste glass containers in particular be used. Recycling centres In addition to bulky waste, metals, green waste and used textiles, other waste fractions and problematic substances can also be disposed of in household quantities at recycling centres run by Stadtreinigung Hamburg. The recycling centres are available to all citizens of Hamburg. A valid identity document or registration certificate is required to be valid upon delivery. Corporate customers and institutions (e.g. associations) can only use the recycling centres for a fee. Note on data up-to-dateness The geo-data is regularly updated. The update is usually done on a monthly basis. Short-term conversions of depot containers due to construction sites are therefore partly not included.
