Registered crime; municipality size and type of crime, 1994-2007
Description
This table contains data on police registered
crime, the suspects heard and the clarified crimes. The
figures are given by type of crime, municipality size and
size class of the municipalities where the crimes were committed.
The type of crime is presented in a number of main groups.
The classification of the municipalities shall be based on the classification
in the year following the year under review. The reason for this is that the
reporting exceeds the annual limit and part
the data does not contain information on the “old” municipalities.
In order to make the size classes of municipalities more comparable,
shall the crime recorded be related to the size of the population
12-79 years in that class.
The figures presented by municipality size are always excluding the
details of the Royal Marechaussee and the national police
services because they cannot be specific to individual municipalities
become.
The classification of the municipalities shall be based on the classification in the
year following the year under review.
The table was discontinued on 7 July 2010.
About registered crime is a new series since 2005
included in the table: Gereg.crime; crimes by type of crime
and the police region.
