Overview of the Danish Maritime Authority’s prohibition areas established by the Danish Maritime Authority in Order No 135 of 4 March 2005.
The layer shows prohibition areas where navigation in various forms may be prohibited, e.g. banning navigation or dredging, fishing or picking up stones. The ban may be due, for example, to conditions on the seabed, or to the fact that maritime traffic must stay away from the approach areas for air traffic. The battle does not include the prohibitions mentioned by the Order as a result of the presence of mines, explosives or ammunition, as this is the Defence’s remit. As the Order is not always adequate in terms of position indication, the individual area has been brought into line with the area’s display in the official electronic charts published by the Danish Geodata Agency (ENC). The layer shall be kept up to date in accordance with any corrections to the notice.
