Industrial / Commercial direct dischargers
Description
According to the Water Resources Act (WHG), discharges of waste water from collecting systems or from waste water treatment or sewage treatment plants into water constitute uses for which an official permit must be granted. Industrial/commercial direct dischargers are production/commercial companies that purify the wastewater generated in their own wastewater treatment plants and then discharge it directly into a body of water.
