Health Monitor Young adults, GGDs and RIVM
Description
The Young Adults Health Monitor provides insight into the health, well-being and lifestyle of Dutch young adults aged 16 to 25. The research is carried out by all GGDs in the Netherlands in collaboration with GGD GHOR Nederland and RIVM. All regional GGDs collect the data in the same way, making figures available at national and regional levels. The recruitment took place through a social media campaign and offline recruitment. The results of the research are an important basis for the development and implementation of local and regional health policies.
As part of the Health Research COVID-19 of the GOR Network, the Corona Health Monitor Young Adults will be carried out. With this research, GGDs provide insight into the physical and mental health of young adults during and after the corona crisis.
Corona Health Monitor Young adults 2022 (N=69,750):
In 2022, the first measurement of the nationally harmonised Health Monitor Young Adults took place: the Corona Health Monitor Young Adults 2022. This measurement has provided data on almost 70,000 young adults aged 16 to 25 living in the Netherlands.
