Pension gap of statutory pensions by average salary
Description
The graph below shows the percentage of men (left) and women (right) who have recently taken their retirement pension according to their average salary (in classes of EUR 500). By default, people who have recently taken their retirement pension and have between 35 and 40 years of career are presented. This is the majority group, comprising 28% of men and 13% of women. You can select yourself a group with a different number of years of work. By hovering your cursor over the bars, you can see how many people are affected. It must be borne in mind that if the group is too small, no general conclusions can be drawn. The average gross pension amounts for men (left, red bars) and women (right, green bars) are presented below by salary class. The absolute difference between the two is indicated in grey.
