Description
Development plans and land use plans of the local municipality Römerberg: A doctor based in Römerberg-Mechtersheim is planning the expansion of his practice on the already used property Holzgasse 16a, plot 156/13. The parcel lies within the scope of the development plan ‘Holzgasse – 1st Amendment’. The planned extension deviates from the stipulations of this development plan with regard to the construction limit as well as the roof shape and roof pitch. The project corresponds to the basic urban planning objectives of the local municipality, as an already used building area is used and the medical care of the population can continue to be ensured against the background of demographic change in Mechtersheim. Since the district administration refuses to approve the project by way of exemption, an amendment to the development plan is necessary to implement the municipal planning objectives or to secure the project under planning law.
